Chad Jewell is the founder and principal broker of Austin Office Space, now with over two decades of experience and counting. Shortly after starting his career in commercial real estate in 1998, Chad created AustinOfficeSpace.com after seeing a need in the Austin market for a modern brokerage firm that exclusively represents and serves occupiers. Chad enjoys connecting with other entrepreneurs and helping navigate the challenges of growth within the rapidly expanding Austin market. Chad focuses on delivering service beyond the traditional broker duties and seeks a consultancy role with his clients, getting underneath the basic real estate requirements to help them make smart business decisions.
Chad holds a degree in Finance with a Real Estate emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa. Since moving to Austin from his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, he has been very involved in the Austin community. He is currently active with the Commercial Brokers Association of Austin, Entrepreneurs Association Accelerator, blood drive host with WeAreBlood, a leadership committee member of the Andy Roddick Foundation, and serves as a strategic advisor to Swivel, a real estate start-up. Chad has previously been involved with many local organizations such as Bootstrap Austin, Habitat Young Professionals, TAG, Metropolitan Breakfast Club, Toastmasters, Young Execs, and Landmark Education.
Chad and his wife Velissa have two boys ages 7 and 9. In his free time, Chad enjoys playing in local tennis leagues, hiking, mountain biking, and traveling with his family.
